I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Departments of Computer Science and Biostatistics at University of Wisconsin-Madison where I work with Prof. Andreas Velten and Prof. Mohit Gupta.

I completed the PhD in Electrical Engineering from UW-Madison in 2015, specializing in systems and signal processing. My dissertation titled ‘‘Stochastic Signal Processing Methods for Shear Wave Imaging using Ultrasound’’ is available here and some slides are available here.

A copy of my (potentially outdated) resume can be found here.

I worked with Prof. Tomy Varghese (Department of Medical Physics/Electrical and Computer Engineering) to develop signal processing algorithms to track shear wave propagation using ultrasound. I also worked with Prof. William Sethares on developing a novel time-frequency representation technique which delineates the equal tempered octave structure of pitched musical instruments more effectively.

From 2015 to 2017, I was a Research Scientist at Fitbit in Boston, MA. During Fall 2013 and Fall 2014 I was a visiting R&D engineer at Philips Healthcare, Andover, MA, where I implemented signal processing algorithms for motion estimation and detecting abnormalities in cardiac tissue.

To find some solace, I go here.
